In-person classes in Brasília (Asa Norte), online, or at your home.
Learn with the Paulinyi Method.
Schola Cantorum de Brasília ® (2012) is the registered trademark of the choral branch of the Escola de Música Paulinyi — the choir that studies, rehearses, and performs Gregorian chant and polyphonic repertoire, bringing children, teens, and adults together in a shared musical practice.
The goal of the Schola Cantorum de Brasília ® is to teach everyone to sing and read music, including Gregorian chant — the sung prayers of the monodic tradition — and polyphonic works, broadening the singers' vocal and expressive range. Vocal technique and reading are taught during the classes and rehearsals: you do not need to already know how to read music or sing to get started.
The Schola Cantorum de Brasília ® also performs at international events, parties, weddings, conferences, and artistic exchange programs, bringing Gregorian chant and polyphonic repertoire to audiences around the world.
